Welcome to MaDaiMonna! Another blog about book reviews, just what the world needed. Book recommendations are delusions, and book reviews are opinions. So, nothing to be taken too seriously. Hence, "Ma dai, monna", which is an Italian dialect sentence to say "come on, get over yourself!". "Mona" is a swearword in Northern Italy, and some people pronounce it "monna", typically with a high-pitched nasal tone. I've traveled the world and I've never found a tackier expression than that, and I find it so stupid it's hilarious. So there you go. I hope you enjoy the reviews, monna!
